On Thursday 11th July, Canon Victor Darlington celebrated a thanksgiving Mass at Holy Family School, Kidbrooke which is soon so close its doors after years of dedicated service to the community. In his homily, Canon Victor drew inspiration from the Parable of the Sower, urging families to thank God for the rich memories and lasting impact the school has bestowed upon them. He emphasised the importance of cherishing the seeds of knowledge and faith down upon them during their time at Holy Family, encouraging all to carry these blessings into the future.
He proudly informed the congregation that the Year 6 students had performed exceptionally well in their SATs and will likely be among the top results in Greenwich.
The Mass was a moving tribute to the school’s legacy and a celebration of the enduring spirit of its community. Students, governors, families and staff joined Canon Victor in the garden after Mass for refreshments.
