St Catherine’s Day 2024

6th August 2024 Off By Claire Williams

To celebrate St Catherine’s day we had a beautiful whole school Mass in the Sports Hall. Thank you to Bishop Philip Moger for a wonderful service. Also thank you to Mrs Cunningham for organising the Mass. It was so delightful to have the whole school together for such a special day.

Additionally Bishop Philip Moger blessed our new Wellbeing Centre Garden and opened it with a beautiful blessing for the earth, the seeds the rain and the students who will use it, before officially cutting the ribbon. It was a lovely beginning to our Wellbeing Garden and Orchard. The garden has been the hard work of The Gardening Club Mrs Cunningham, Mrs Turner and the Premises Team. The Garden will provide a wonderful calming space. Research has shown that people with a strong connection with nature are typically happier in life, as nature can generate many happy emotions, including calmness, joy and creativity.
