St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School Attend Educators’ Mass

On Wednesday 18th September, St Joseph’s Catholic Primary, Gomm Road, held an Educators’ Mass for local Catholic schools. As this was the first of its kind for schools in their area, they were extremely blessed to invite Canon Victor Darlington to lead this beautiful celebration. It was a wonderful reminder of the importance of the work that we do as educators: a profound act of love, nurturing hearts and minds towards truth and wisdom.

During this Mass, Canon Victor reminded all that we must open our hearts to the presence of the Holy Spirit, asking for the grace and strength needed for this important mission. This celebration helped the educators to renew their commitment to Catholic education and remind them of the sacred trust placed in their hands to inspire and lead their students.

St Joseph’s are very grateful to Canon Victor for his continuous guidance, commitment and love and to all the Catholic educators who attended the Mass from St Joseph’s Deptford, St George’s Cathedral, St Michael’s, St Anthony’s in Dulwich, Colette Doran-Hannon the Director of Academies and Jonathan Ronan CEO of St Benedict CAT.  They hope this wonderful new tradition continues next year!
