The Advent service held at St George’s Cathedral on Friday, December 6th, 2024, was a beautiful and reflective event. Organised by the Education Service in collaboration with the Catholic Children’s Society, this service brought together primary schools from the Archdiocese of Southwark.
The service began at 2pm. It was a wonderful opportunity for the school communities to reflect on the Advent season and the Nativity of our Lord.
The event was a significant moment for the community, emphasising the importance of Advent as a time of preparation and anticipation for Christmas. The service included readings, hymns, and prayers, creating a serene and contemplative atmosphere for all who attended.
