Feedback from our application said:

It is commendable that staff wellbeing at Laleham Lea is given a great deal of consideration, and the inclusion of the policy is testament to the importance placed on this. The newsletter shows evidence of the work of the Mini Vinnies, the Eco day and the work in the community, as well as the importance placed on the recognition of the achievements of the children.

The details in the curriculum strand and summary statement show how CST is being promoted across all year groups in many subjects. The focus on events such as the Black Lives Matter campaign and the use of external speakers to enhance the children’s understanding of CST is to be commended.

The evidence in the practical strand shows the importance placed on pupil voice and the commitment to raising money for others less fortunate. The work of the School Council and their focus on recycling bins, sensory garden planting and nature trail design is impressive, and it is a credit that they have managed to raise so much money for charity. The focus on the local food bank and the reduction of fees after the pandemic when families may have been in financial hardship is testament to your commitment to supporting those in need.

The self-assessment section shows that there is no complacency and that you are striving to shape the school as one where CST are guiding principles.”
