On Friday 16th September, children, parents and staff at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Gomm Road, welcomed Fr Victor Darlington, our new Episcopal Vicar for the South East and their Parish Priest, Fr Tesfa Michael, into their school to celebrate their Beginning of Year Mass and Miss Catherine Doherty’s Headteacher Inauguration Mass.
It was a truly beautiful celebration and one the staff, children and parents of St. Joseph’s will never forget. It was an honour for their school community to have Fr Victor attend and celebrate this special occasion. They feel truly blessed that they were the first school he visited in his new role as Episcopal Vicar.
They’d like to send a sincere thank you to Fr Victor Darlington for his love and kindness. All of the school community were truly inspired by him and they look forward to welcoming him into celebrate with their school community again.
