New to Catholic Schools

For: ECTs and experienced teachers who are new to Catholic Primary Schools  

Celebrate Catholic education and what makes it special and rewarding for those teaching in Catholic Schools. This full day session will be followed up by a series of twilight Zoom sessions. 

Session will include: 

• the Church’s mission in education, specifically within the Archdiocese of Southwark;  
• an introduction to Catholic Social Teaching (CST), how it is lived out by all members of the school community;  
• an exploration of the question ‘What is a Catholic Classroom?’  
• a session on leading times of prayer within the classroom and participating in wider school times of prayer and liturgy.
