On Thursday 11th July 2024 Canon Victor Darlington celebrated a Mass for the reopening of Our Lady St Philip Neri Catholic Primary School for the pupils and staff. Fr Regus from Our Lady St Phillip Neri Parish co-celebrated.

Pupils answered questions and joined in singing with Canon Victor during his homily. Pupils held the ribbon for Canon Victor to cut to open and bless the school.

Later on in the evening Archbishop John Wilson presided over a Mass for the school and the local community in the parish church. This provided an opportunity to thank those who have been inconvenienced during the extensive refurbishment of the school.

Archbishop John Wilson cut the ribbon to the front entrance and blessed the doors of the school in front of a crowd of the local community, parishioners, parents and school staff.

The school were pleased to welcome Ellie Reeves MP the newly re-elected member of Parliament to the event.
